Gistgeest ('Yeast Spirit') is a modern yet very comfortable taproom for a new-ish brewpub. Their beers are accomplished and cover a range of styles - all those sampled to date have been really interesting. They also serve small snacks like charcuterie, cheese, etc. It's close to the Borgerhout Apollo tram stop (tram 9 from the centre or Centraal Station) but also close to Berchem Groenenhoek (tram 4). Well worth a visit.
