If you like your cafes brown you'll love this lively bar on the Grote Markt. It's right next door to Den Bengel: we like them both, but perhaps with a slight preference for Den Engel. It has a similar offer: one room, very brown, a short-ish beer list with the main attraction being excellent Bolleke on tap. A really good place for an early beer, given it's extremely generous opening hours. Locals obviously love it too, as it's often really busy even in the morning.
